Springboard is committed to protecting all personal information we obtain about you. We will only collect and use your personal information for carefully considered and legitimate purposes. What data do we hold?

We may hold the following data:

  • Expression of Interest and Funding Application forms submitted via the Springboard website.
  • Emails relating to funding decisions.
  • Name and email address if you specifically sign up online or at an event to be put on our mailing list.

What do we use your data for?

  • To process a grant to you
  • To keep records of your relationship with us e.g. questions you have asked, grants we have given or requests we have turned down.
  • To keep you up to date aboutwhat we are involved with in the Reading area.
  • To inform you about upcoming events Springboard is hosting/sponsoring that you may wish to attend.

Basis for processing your data

Our lawful basis for processing this information is the legitimate interest of Springboard in distributing grants.We will only send you newsletters if we have your consent.

Retaining and deleting your information

We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that the information we hold about you is kept secure and can only be read by the appropriate staff members and trustees. We will only hold your personal data for as long as it is required in line with our Data Retention Policy.
